Set of 3 Retro Vintage Naval Orange Glass Canisters

Beautiful orange colored glass with ground necks (glass ground to fit neck and lid, airtight). Hollow lid finials with a stylized flower. Lids were blown into mold and hand finished. Vessels are hand blown, no mold lines, smooth swirled pontil marks. Medium weight glass. Imported and stocked at Gump’s in San Francisco during the late 1960s to early 1970s. Made by Takahashi, a famous mid-century Japanese art glass and art pottery maker.

Large canister measures 9.5″ tall, 6″ wide. Medium canister measures 7.5″ tall, 5″ wide. Small canister measures 5.75″ tall, 4″ wide.[color-box]More About Glass from Other Regions[/color-box]
