Carved German Crystal Church Scene Charger Plate
Deeply carved 3-dimensional country church scene. Beautiful huge freeform plate of thick quality glass. Has the original Walther Glass label. Walther Glass has been in business in Germany since the early 1900’s. They continue to produce glass today. Many Mikasa objects are made by Walther Glass.
Very large plate measures 13″ round and weighs 3 lbs. The glass is thick and has 3 small ball feet. The carving was done on the reverse, where it is deep and very detailed. The surface is smooth. In pristine condition. Label is a bit worn.
