Viking Art Glass Georgian Ruby Goblet
Large Viking Georgian #6911 facet stemmed goblet. This lovely Georgian ruby goblet is made from ruby red glass by Viking Art Glass, circa mid 1960’s.
Viking Art Glass began in 1901 in New Martinsville, West Virginia, USA, as the New Martinsville Glass Company. In 1944 the company was renamed Viking Glass. Their use of color in their glassware was what they became known for. Their line include everything from glass for the boudoir and lamps, to smoking and liquor sets, and included tableware and decorative art glass designs.
