Hand-formed Vintage Retro Glass Dachsund Dog by Pilgrim Art Glass, USA
Long and lovable vintage retro glass Dachsund made by hand by one of America’s mid-20th Century glass makers.
This super long bodied art glass doggie is part of the “Wonderful World of Pilgrim Glass Animals” line shown in the 1970 Pilgrim Art Glass catalog, part number 944. It measures 7″ long and 2″ tall.
Pilgrim Art Glass was one of the Fab Five handmade glass producers in the during the 50s, 60s and 70s, competing with the likes of Blenko Art Glass and Viking Art Glass. The company is one of the few art glass makers still in business in the USA Today.
It’s in excellent condition. Looks new, but it is about 40 years old. Made with quality vintage glass in one of the favorite retro modern colors, olive green. Hard to find without damage.[color-box]More About Pilgrim Art Glass[/color-box]
