Old Morgantown Crystal Federal Patio Light
Genuine lead crystal from the early 1960’s Decor Line. Big beautiful relic of authentic retro modern decor made in the late 1950’s to the early 1960’s by Morgantown Glass. Morgantown called this the Federal Patio Light, part no. 9913. Morgantown was a producer of popular and elegant art glassware and was associated with Fostoria Glass. The plant closed down in the early 1970’s.
Appears to be UNUSED. In excellent condition. Bottom wear present (consistent with heavy glass over 50 years old). Intact label reads – Old Morgantown, Genuine Lead Crystal, Handmade in U.S.A.. Blown by hand from mod with pontil mark on seat.
Large, table sized “patio light”, measures 8.5″ tall, with a 4.5″ wide mouth. Also great as a flower vase. Base is weighted with thick glass for stability. Color was called “Peacock Blue”.
The white pillar candle shown in images is included. The Gardenia scented candle is unused, still in original wrapper and fits into the patio light well.
