Retro Modern 1950s Glassware Rack with Atomic Decor
Wonderful complete set of 8 atomic era roly-poly tumblers with original rack. These sets are hard to find complete with all original parts.The rack is original. We can say this because the metal rack shows wear exactly at the spots that the tumblers have touched it while in the rack all these years. There is also some bottom-wear on the rack. The wear is light. The glass is in excellent condition. The applied turquoise enamel and real gold decor is 95% present. Each glass is rimmed with gold and every other teardrop is in gold. The dark patches on the gold are only reflections.
These beauties have not been in a dishwasher, and should always be hand-washed. The wood handle is stained oak and it is excellent condition. The wood handle can be removed for cleaning. Probably made by Hazel Atlas or Anchor Hocking. Circa 1950s.
