Riihimaki/Riihimaen Art Stromboli Glass Vase
The stromboli glass vase was hand blown from heavy smoked blue glass cased in crystal. It has a raspberry stamped pontil. The vase has a polished rim & a weighted base. The vase has a retro rocket shaped design.
This quality Scandinavian crystal piece is a 1960’s Finnish vase designed by Aimo Okkolin in 1962. Aimo Okkolin worked with Riihimaen Lasi (Finland) from 1937 to 1976. The stromboli glass vase is acid stamped and numbered 1436. The stromboli glass vase is a favorite among collectors of vintage art glass.
