Description
Mid-century Swedish modern blown cased crystal vase with original labels.
Swedish Modern style from Aseda’s famous glass artist Bo Borgstrom in the 1960’s. This vase is from a line called Svenks Form. Blown, formed and finished by hand. Cased in colorless and light amber heavy, thick-walled, quality leaded glass. The slightly flared rim has been polished flat. The colorless base is solid, providing a weighted base for stability. Inside the solid glass base is a tiny unintentional bubble, common in hand formed studio glass on the Mid-20th Century.
In beautiful crystal clean and undamaged condition. Measures just under 9″ tall, 3 1/2″ at widest, and weighs 2 lbs. Original labels were preserved beneath tape.
