Turquoise and Silver Vintage Murano Art Glass
This beautiful piece of art glass was hand made in the 1950s in Venetian style on the Isle of Murano, Italy. This luxurious free-flowing jewel-like glass is internally decorated with authentic silver. It was formed by hand and mouth by an Italian glassblower of great skill.
The label reads: Genuine Venetian Glass Handmade on the Isle of Murano. The shape, words, and color of the label tell us it is from the mid-century era and was probably exported to the U.S.A. The glasshouses of the day used generic labels on export glass.
