Art Deco Style Ballerina Dish in Cobalt Blue Glass
This lovely ballerina dish is a contemporary reproduction of an Art Deco era Westmoreland Glass design. It was made by Summit Art Glass, a modern glass importer which acquired Westmoreland molds. This dish has the familiar superimposed W over G on the foot, the Westmoreland Glass logo.
The original 1920’s Westmoreland mold depicts a reclining ballerina surrounded by her tutu. This Summit Art Glass ballerina dish is an exact duplicate issued in the 1990’s.
Multiple use dish for jewelry, pins, coins, mints , etc. In beautiful deep cobalt blue glass. In excellent condition. Measures 9″ long and 2½” tall. Weighs just over 1 lb.
